Striking the balance between preserving the existing character and introducing a more considered layout with modern craftsmanship.

Internally we added a new bathroom and laundry, and opened up the kitchen and living area.

Externally we added a new wrap around deck, awning and weather iron roof sheeting.

We managed to bring the building performance up to modern day standards by removing rot and termite damaged timber and installing moisture proof sarking and external thermal insulation.

Every element was designed to honour the warm heritage brickwork and hardwood timber detailing that was already there.
